Achieve the Perfect Makeup for Headshots

So I had to update my headshot pictures since I’ve been on maternity leave for a minute. I do extra work to make extra cash so I needed to look fresh and well rested to get the job!

Headshots are all about looking fresh, natural, but most importantly, yourself. There’s a fine line between just enough and too much so some BB cream, light eyeliner and a beautiful rose shade on your lips is great.
Also, feel free to wear false lashes in a natural style though to really emphasize those eyes. Lots get lost in translation when it comes to photography so lashes can be enhanced.

Also, try to be as matte as you can in the oily areas without looking cakey but leaving texture on the rest of your skin. Remain a bit dewy on the cheekbones but matte in the center where the light would usually reflect. I opted for no highlighter (gasp) on this look but a natural sheen from my skin instead.

It’s a delicate balance but hopefully, this little video gives you a look into doing it right. Light and bright is the key.
